ITANAGAR, Jan 29: The All Arunachal Pradesh Chess Association (AAPCA) has fielded a team of 15 players led by Hage Lassa (Nado) as team manager at the 18th North East Fide Rating Open Chess Tournament-2018, which began at Shillong, Meghalaya, on Monday.
Two officials from the state – Tapi Shah and Taba Anam – will take part in the tournament as arbiters.
The team: Nabam Nikum, Mui Takar, Jigo Josam, Tapak Mra, Madhu Tok, Raja Basar, Tapir Mize, Obuk Jerang, Neeraj Tamuk, Punyo Apa, Tabu Dupit, Chumpa Dobin, Likha Tacho, Mangio Tapung, and Taba Taying.
