ATA to press for promotional avenues

ITANAGAR, Feb 3: The Arunachal Teachers’ Association (ATA) has said it will press for streamlining promotional avenues for all categories of teachers in the state.
The association said on Saturday that it has also authorized its new office bearers to pursue the state government for complete bifurcation of elementary education and secondary education both at the state and the district level.
Regarding the implementation of bunching benefits and minimum assured career progression (MACP) for all categories of teachers in the state, the ATA expressed displeasure at the current state of affairs in the education department and the stagnation of most of the teachers in the same post for years.
