ITANAGAR, Feb 3: PHE&WS Minister Bamang Felix on Saturday promised the authority of the Holy Cross Higher Secondary School at Nyokum Lapang here that he would provide help for constructing a girls’ hostel for the school which is going to start its higher secondary batch for the 2018-19 session.
Expressing appreciation for the quality education provided by the school, Felix lauded the teachers, and advised the students to be disciplined and continue to be so even after they leave the school.
He urged parents to inculcate values among their children and to support their wards and the school in their activities.
The minister was addressing the students and faculties during the 18th annual day celebration of the school.
While inspecting the science and art exhibition, he encouraged the students to bring the same innovation in their practical life.
Legislative Assembly Additional Secretary Kago Habung and Pain management specialist at Tomo Riba Institute of Health & Medical Sciences, Dr Minggam Pertin also spoke.
Class toppers were given prizes by Felix to mark the occasion.
