DAPORIJO, Feb 6: The 138 Bn CRPF on Tuesday handed over a well-furnished library along with furniture to the government higher secondary school here in Upper Subansiri district, under its civic action programme.
The library contains more than 200 books on subjects such as philosophy, science and technology, besides biographies and storybooks.
MLA Dikto Yekar, DC Danish Ashraf, teachers, students and others were present at the function during which the battalion’s commandant, Paras Nath handed over the library and the furniture to the school’s principal, T Ram Singh.
