BOMDILA, Feb 7: The Sartang tribe celebrated Chiksha festival from 5-7 February at Khoina Village under Nafra circle of West Kameng district.
Advisor to Chief Minister Japu Deru advised the gathering of festival revellers to preserve the culture and tradition of the society.
Since Khoina village has been selected under the Chief Minister’s Adarsh Gram Yojna, Deru, who is also the local legislator, requested the gathering avail benefits from the flagship programmes of the chief minister and CSS programmes.
Nafra EAC Rajiv Chiduni spoke on the importance of education, sanitation and various development programmes.
