MOHANBARI (Assam), Feb 9: On his way to Namsai, Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein on Friday inspected the ongoing construction work for the new Arunachal guest house here.
Mein expressed dissatisfaction with the progress of work, saying though he had (during his previous inspection) given a deadline to complete the building by February this year, it is nowhere near completion.
He asked the contractor to hasten the work by increasing the manpower and complete the building by March.
The four-storied building, which has a plinth area of 2500 sq mtr, is located opposite the present guest house near Mohanbari airport.
The guest house will have 3 VVIP rooms, 3 VIP rooms, and 10 general rooms with a terrace lawn. After completion, the guest house will cater to Arunachalees coming to Dibrugarh for medical and other purposes. (PRO)
