ITANAGAR, Feb 15: Governor BD Mishra and Chief Minister Pema Khandu in separate messages on Thursday greeted the people of the state on the occasion of Losar festival of the Monpa tribe and Oriah festival of the Wancho tribe.
The governor expressed hope that Losar would usher peace and prosperity for the people of Arunachal. He extended warm wishes to the Wanchos and expressed hope that Oriah festivity would promote love, peace and communal harmony.
The chief minister urged the people to strengthen the bond of brotherhood among all communities and faiths, and to take the state to newer heights on the occasion of Losar. He also extended warm wishes to the Wanchos and prayed to almighty Jowan Rang for peace and prosperity for all.
