ROING, Feb 26: Solar street lights were installed at the district hospital, government higher secondary school and community hall at Anini here on Sunday last by the Indian Army under Dao Division from Lekhapani Military Station as part of its ongoing efforts in improving the quality of life and to create awareness about ‘Green Energy’.
The district administration was also incorporated in the installation of the solar lights to ensure that maximum benefit reaches the people, informed a representative of the Army.
Earlier, Anini ADC, Gautam Hazarika inaugurated the installation programme in presence of CO, Julite Mihu, doctors and staff of the district hospital among others.
