RUKSIN, Feb 26: “Public safety is our top priority and we should always maintain it,” said All Arunachal Pradesh Public Transport Federation East Siang unit president Tabiram Moyong during the inaugural function of the multipurpose public transport counter/ parking place held at Jonai on Monday.
Moyong, who inaugurated the multipurpose counter, also said that “a new line of bond has been created today between Assam and Arunachal transport sectors, which would lessen the problems and hindrances between the border areas, and in turn boost the local economy and tourism sector”
The multipurpose counter is owned by M/S Ruksin Jonai Bedang and Shilpa Co-operative Society Ltd (RJBSCS), who recently received its counter/parking place license issued by the Assam State Transport and Paribahan Bhawan. The society shall use the premises of Ruksin(Arunachal), Jonai, Dhemaji (Assam).
RJBSCS Chairman Lelin Doley shared that it is currently the only authentic licensed counter/ parking place in Jonai and hoped that it would come up to the expectation of the public.
Besides senior members, other commercial vehicle owners and drivers attended the function.
