YUPIA, Feb 28: A District Level Review and Advisory Council (DLRAC) meeting of Arunachal Pradesh Rural Bank, Rural Self employment Training Institute (APRA-RSETI) was held under the chair of Papum Pare Deputy Commissioner cum Chairperson APRB-RSETI, DLRAC, here at the DC’s conference hall on Wednesday to review the performance and targets of APRB-RSETI.
During the meeting, the DC stressed upon maintaining proper records and timely filing of detail reports of activities taken up by the APRB-RSETI in the district.
He also asked the APRB-RSETI to involve the local administration during any programme to garner more public participation in their programmes.
Responding to poor settlement performance of beneficiaries of RSETI programme, the DC suggested that the banks cooperate in proper settlement of beneficiaries as most of the beneficiaries could not proceed further due to delay by banks in approving their loan components, thereby affecting their willingness to start new ventures.
Senior Manager & Nodal Officer, APRB, HO, Naharlagun, B Deory presented an overview of performance of APRB-RSETI and upcoming targets of APRB-RSETI. He also apprised the chairman about the settlement issue of trainees and response of financial literacy outreach camps of APRB-RSETI.
Among others, present were lead Bank Manager, Director, APRB-RSETI, representatives from NABARD, SBI and MSME.
Later, the DC conducted a meeting in his office chamber with land owners in connection with acquisition of land for Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) Ltd bottling plant at Dobam village under Banderdewa circle about the implications of land acquisition process. (DIPRO)
