ITANAGAR, Mar 1: Capital Complex Deputy Commissioner Prince Dhawan has exhorted the youths of the capital to take advantage of and submit more project proposals under the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Swavalamban Yojana (DDUSY) being implemented in the district.
The DDUSY has been launched by the state government to encourage unemployed youth for entrepreneurship through banking channels. The major motive of the DDUSY is to provide bank loans from Rs 10 lakhs to Rs 1 crore for entrepreneurs who wish to set up small and medium enterprises.
However, entrepreneurs would be required to self-contribute at least 10 per cent of the project cost.
Meanwhile, the district level district level screening committee headed by DC Dhawan on Thursday recommended 19 applicants to the state level screening committee with few conditions under the scheme.
