13 Arunachal youths flee Maharashtra after 10 March attack

ITANAGAR, Mar 14: All 13 youths from Arunachal Pradesh, who were currently undergoing a six months training in Pune, sponsored by the Nagaland Tools & Training Centre (NTCC) have fled Maharashtra for their home state after two youths were attacked by a gang on 10 March.
According to Ritum Sora, a volunteer of the Helping Hands, which extends help to people of NE in need in cities, all the youths have left Maharashtra after the 10 March incident, apprehending that they may also be made their targets.
Two youths from the state, namely Wangli Mikham and Mankhu Wangsu of Kanubari under Longding district were severely beaten allegedly by one Pradip and his accomplices without any provocation on 10 March around 10 pm.
The victim duo was also undergoing the same training programme in Pune.
