ITANAGAR, Mar 20: A class VI student of the Guardian Angel Residential School (GARS) has been awarded the Deen Dayal SPARSH scholarship for her research work and aptitude in selecting Philately as a hobby.
The SPARSH stands for Scholarship for Promotion of Aptitude & Research in Stamps as a hobby.
She has been presented an amount of Rs 6000 under the scholarship scheme for the year 2017-2018. The said amount has been disbursed through her post office savings bank account at the Itanagar Head Post Office.
Meanwhile, Sneha was felicitated in a function held at Itanagar HPO on Tuesday.
Superintendent of Posts (HQ), Kerlin Mon Kharshandi handed over the post office savings bank passbook to Sneha Vaid during the function.
