ITANAGAR, Mar 23: Arunachal Pradesh bagged a silver and a bronze medal at the 16th Junior National Wushu Championship, which was held at Kurukshetra, Haryana, from 18 to 22 March.
Gyamar Yatup won the silver medal in the below 48 kg category, while Gida Yaji bagged the bronze in the below 45 kg, informed the All Arunachal Pradesh Wushu Association.
Both Yatup and Yaji are from Kimin in Papum Pare district, and are regular trainees at the Kimin Wushu Club.
The team was led by coach Wangman Wangsu.
