ITANAGAR, Mar 25: Continuing its surprise raids, the capital complex district administration on Saturday found two bars/restaurants – Blues and Poong Nest – running beyond the permissible time.
Executive Magistrate Hengo Basar, who spearheaded the operation along with Itanagar SDPO K Sikom and LO to DC Sanjiv Chakraborty, has passed a standing order to seal both the bars.
Basar informed that such surprise raids will continue “till all the bars/ restaurants strictly adhere to the time regulated by the administration on the basis of the trading licence from the tax & excise department.”
Capital Complex DC Prince Dhawan has time and again stressed that the administration has zero tolerance for illegal operation of bars/restaurants.
The DC has appealed to the public to cooperate with the administration in implementing such exercises. (DIPRO)
