ITANAGAR, Mar 26: The Forest Colony Welfare Committee Indira Gandhi Park under Ward 10 in a representation to the capital complex deputy commissioner on Monday appealed to him to initiate urgent steps to check unlawful activities at IG Park.
It appealed to the administration to deploy police personnel to conduct regular patrolling at the park; monitor all the development activities being taken up by government authorities or contractors; and strictly check land encroachment and damages to public property, for the betterment of the park.
