PASIGHAT, Mar 29: NGO AAUN Foundation in association with the East Siang district administration is organizing a pre-recruitment training for youths at the Jawaharlal Nehru College playground here from 2 April.
Earlier, the NGO with the help of military personnel stationed at Sigar (Mebo) had conducted pre-recruitment training for the local youths, paving the way for them to join the Indian Army as soldiers.
“Our earlier efforts yielded results as eight local youths successfully passed the Army recruitment rally held at Likabali last time and joined the armed forces,” AAUN Foundation secretary and retired IAF group captain Mohonto Pangging, who is looking after the training activities, said.
