ITANAGAR, Apr 3: The Itanagar Market Welfare Association (IMWA) has urged the state government and the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) to ensure that the Itanagar-Papu Nallah four-lane road, work on which is ongoing, is of good quality, reliable and safe.
The IMWA has also urged the state government to constitute a steering committee to review whether the construction agency is following the NHAI guidelines.
‘The committee must ensure that components such as road boundary, building boundary and control line are maintained at all length along the highway,’ it said.
It also alleged that the standard width of the right of way (RoW) is not being maintained.
