TAWANG, Apr 4: Deliberations on local body elections and ways of improving the same were held during a one day regional-level meeting of State Election Commissioners, which was held here on Wednesday.
The meeting chaired by SEC, Madhya Pradesh, R. Parasuram, who is also the chairman of Standing Committee was attended by State Election Commissioners from Delhi/ Chandigarh, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh besides, Tawang Deputy Commissioner and Secretary, SEC.
A comparative study on the practice among states was also done during the programme which was jointly hosted by State Election Commission of Arunachal Pradesh and district administration. (DIPRO)
