ITANAGAR, Apr 13: The Arunachal Pradesh Biodiversity Board (APBB) has approved the proposal for notifying 20 plants and eight animal species of Arunachal Pradesh as threatened.
APBB Research Officer Dr Kenjum Bagra presented the list of the threatened plant and animal species to be notified by the central government in a meeting of the Board, which was held at the State Forest Research Institute here on Friday.
The Board also approved the Annual Plan- 2018-19 and other work programmes.
The meeting was presided over by APBB Chairman Tapen Siga.
