DAPORIJO, Apr 18: The district administration of Upper Subansiri has decided to convert the fish pond at Gandhi market, under the district Fishery department into an eco-fishery park during a meeting held at the DC’s office here on Wednesday.
A memorandum of understanding was signed between the district administration and district Fishery department to jointly initiate the project.
It was also decided in the meeting that the Urban Development department will implement the project with Labour Officer, Jumni Ligu and District Fishery Officer, Taye Riamuk as nodal officer of the project.
