AALO, Apr 18: Coordination cum refresher meeting was held on 17 April at the DC’s conference hall, where West Siang Deputy Commissioner Swetika Sachan stressed on key issues that require awareness and imposition on the citizens for the welfare of town dwellers.
Officers and officials from the district administration, police and other departments held discussion on various acts to intensify checks on illegal gambling, immoral trafficking, reckless fishing and hunting, besides regular ILP checks.
Vehicles would also be checked regularly under the Motor Vehicle Act with penalties for defaulters, while restaurants and hotels will be checked for illegal sale of liquor and immoral trafficking.
The house also decided to take up the issues with the public and target groups in an appropriate platform. (DIPRO)
