HAWAI, Apr 24: Anjaw Deputy Commissioner Mamata Riba urged the HoDs of the district to gear up for smooth and timely implementation of all government projects.
During a meeting here on Monday, the DC reviewed all government schemes being implemented in the district.
She also asked the HoDs to be in readiness for holding administrative camps in village clusters, and for the Jan Sunvai Sammelan programme.
The HoDs presented reports on the achievement of their departments.
Finance & Accounts Officer Niya Mili, DPDO B Towsik, panchayat leader Abralum Ngi, and All India Handloom Board member Banem Kri also spoke.
In another meeting held earlier in the day, the deputy commissioner reviewed the progress of and the difficulties being faced at ground level in the implementation of the Trans-Arunachal Highway (TAH) project.
The meeting decided to set up special committees, to be led by administrative officers, for various matters of concern.
The DC urged the BRO and the Sushee Infra & Mining Ltd, which are the implementing agencies, to monitor the condition of the road as Anjaw falls under the highly-seismic zone.
NHIDCL DGM (P) DP Soni was also present in the meeting. He advised the construction agencies to be in constant touch with the local departments.
