PASIGHAT, May 20: Police expelled 60 persons without inner line permit (ILP) from East Siang district on 18 May.
Twelve of them were detected in Sille-Oyan, and 48 were detected in Ruksin area. They were later expelled beyond the state boundary, SP Prashant Gautam said.
Informing that the police have intensified ILP checking drive in the district, the SP appealed to the people intending to visit the state to obtain proper documents from the competent authority. (DIPRO)
