ITANAGAR, May 26: The round-the-clock helpline number, ‘1077’ for reporting natural calamities, which was made available by the capital complex district administration, has reportedly gone defunct.
On Saturday morning, around 4 am, flashflood-affected people of Senki View area tried calling the number several times, but there was no response from the other end.
Rainwater flooded at least 10 houses in Senki View.
