BASAR, May 29: Fifty-two participants took part in a sensitization programme on community-based ecotourism, organised by the tourism department at the panchayati raj hall here in Lower Siang district on Tuesday.
The participants received training on homestay hospitality, rural tourism, and conservation.
The trainees will be divided into four teams and provided with basic resource mapping of the area, so that they may gain a reasonable understanding of rural tourism and community participation.
