ITANAGAR, Jun 8: The state unit of the All India DRDA Staff Welfare Association has said it will resume its indefinite pen- and tool-down strike from 15 June, following the failure of the state government to fulfill the long pending demands of the state’s DRDA employees.
“There is no other means to express our grievances to the state government other than resumption of our suspended indefinite strike against the government,” the association unit stated in a press release on Friday.
The DRDA employees of the state have been demanding early placing of the committee report regarding their issues, and ensuring its approval in the cabinet meeting in June 2018.
