ITANAGAR, Jun 12: Welcoming incumbent Lower Subansiri Deputy Commissioner Chukhu Takar, the Apatani Youth Association (AYA) on Tuesday said it expects that the development of the district will reach new heights under Takar’s administration.
Responding to the recent press statement of the All Nyishi Students’ Union regarding the appointment of the DC, the AYA clarified that its own earlier representation to the CM had been made “during the confusing period for the post of the DC.
“There was chaos and confusion amongst the people of the district and law and order problem was anticipated at that point of time,” the AYA said.
The association said it did not and does not question the efficiency and integrity of any individual officer.
“AYA always stands for social solidarity, efficient administration, and peaceful coexistence in the society,” it said.
