AALO, Jun 16: The urban development & housing (UD&H) department along with the Galo Ane Safai Abhiyan (GASA) and residents of Puak Gumin participated in a cleanliness drive at the confluence of Yomgo and Sipu rivers here on Saturday.
The participants cleared the town’s garbage which flow down different drains and outlets and accumulate along the rivers’ banks, and present an ugly sight.
The UD&H department was led by Deputy Director Halley Welley, and the GASA was led by Jumken Doji Ete and Hongam Angu Ete.
The GASA has been organising cleanliness drives in and around Aalo town since December 2015. (DIPRO)
