ITANAGAR, Jun 21: Capital Complex Deputy Commissioner Prince Dhawan has sought cooperation from everyone to revive the education system in the capital region.
Addressing a District Level Education Society (DLES) meeting at the Capital DC’s office here to have elaborate discussions on three newly launched schemes of education sector, namely Chief Minister’s Samast Shiksha Yojana (CMSSY), Acharya Dronacharya Gurukul Yojana and Chief Minister’s Adhunik Pathsala Yojana, the DC said ‘all the schemes are meant for the student community and therefore there should not be any lacunae in its implementation.’
He directed the members of the DLES to ensure proper implementation of these schemes, which aims to improve the overall quality of education.
Stressing that a hybrid model which would ensure quality education is the need of the hour, the DC said the model should include the examination system, pass percentage, teachers’ attendance, coordination between principals/ headmasters and school management committee, etc.
Informing that the capital administration is dedicated to improve the overall education scenario, the DC also directed Capital Complex DDSE Mallo Yam Gollo to ensure that there is proper advertisement regarding the objectives of the scheme and that the information regarding the same should be disseminated to the students.
