PANGIN, Jul 18: A four-day disaster awareness programme conducted by the 12 Bn NDRF concluded here on Thursday.
The NDRF team demonstrated various safety methods to be adopted during a disaster, including flood rescue, evacuation, lifting and carrying, and first aid methods during the programme.
NDRF team commander Ranvir Singh Pathania informed about various disasters, and about the precautionary and preventive measures to be taken during natural calamities.
Among others, Siang Deputy Commissioner Rahul Singh and SP Kushal Pal Singh were present.
