DAPORIJO, Jul 25: The 3rd Tadak Dulom district level badminton tournament, wherein a total of 76 players (both men and women) are participating, began at the Sinyik Hall, here on Tuesday.
Daporijo SBI branch Chief Manager N Basumatari, who inaugurated the tournament, appealed to the players to maintain the spirit of true sportsmanship. Recalling the immense contributions of former PWD and health minister, late Tadak Dulom, Basumatari said that the late leader had rendered selfless service for the development of the society, especially for Upper Subansiri district.
The opening match of the tournament was played between Komkap Dulom and Adap Malling in men’s single category, wherein the former beat the latter by 21-14 and 21-9.
