BOMDILA, Jul 27: The Bhalukpong-Charduar-Tawang (BCT) road will continue to remain closed to vehicular movement till 8 August.
The West Kameng deputy commissioner on Friday issued an order extending the closure of the road after reports were received from the Border Roads Task Force that it will take one more week to “stabilize the landslides.”
The administration had earlier prohibited the movement of vehicles on the road from 19 to 28 July because of damages caused by heavy landslides.
