ITANAGAR, Aug 3: The All Kamle District Students’ Union in a representation to the land management director on Friday sought early posting of subordinate officials and staff including mandal, chainman and LDC at the Kamle district land revenue & settlement office (DLRSO) in Raga.
The union said the task of carrying out survey work in administrative centres such as Gepen, Puchi-Geko, Kamporijo, Dollungmukh and Raga is a difficult one, considering the vast area which needs to be covered.
It also said that district headquarters Raga has been facing rampant encroachment which needs to be checked.
Stating that the Kamle deputy commissioner had also on 26 July written to the land management director, seeking immediate posting of staff at the DLRSO, the union urged the director to initiate early action in the matter.
