PAKKE KESSANG, Aug 7: Pakke Kessang MLA Biyuram Wahge on Tuesday inaugurated the police outpost here.
“The police outpost had been a longstanding demand of the public and it could be materialized only due to the initiatives of Chief Minister Pema Khandu, Home Minister Kumar Waii, the DIG, the chief secretary, and the East Kameng DC and SP,” said Wahge.
Pakke Kessang circle headquarters was earlier dependent on police either from Seppa (East Kameng) or Sagalee (Papum Pare) for security, and both the places are far from here.
Wahge also distributed LPG cylinders to 150 beneficiaries under the Ujjawla Yojana.
East Kameng DC GS Rajawat, government officials, former panchayat leaders and public attended the function.
