APBRDA chairman visits dists

ITANAGAR, Aug 12: Arunachal Pradesh Bamboo Resources & Development Agency (APBRDA) Chairman Yora Tagung recently visited East Siang, Lohit, Lower Dibang Valley and Namsai districts, in connection with the plantation of around 70 different types of bamboo species for industrial marketing.
Tagung held discussions with the district administrations to analyze the implementation of nursery planning and bamboo-based industrial units.
He said a joint meeting regarding immediate implementation of the ‘project’ would be held with the district administrators of all the eastern, central and western zones of Arunachal Pradesh.
“This project will to benefit the rural areas and connect them directly with the market,” Tagung added.
