Org says attack accused should not get bail

ITANAGAR, Sep 2: The All Tator Welfare Society (ATWS) has vehemently condemned the attack on one Bomli Belo by one Neiye Lingri on 25 August at Lekhi village, and demanded that the accused not be granted bail.
The victim, who received grievous injuries in the incident, is currently undergoing treatment in Guwahati, informed the ATWS.
Terming the incident “most barbaric and inhumane,” the ATWS requested the law enforcing authority to award exemplary punishment to the accused as per the law.
The Yiyom Yinyo Welfare Society has also condemned the incident in the strongest terms, and requested the home minister to initiate necessary action to punish the culprit. It also urged people not to try to give the case a communal colour.
The accused was arrested on the same day of the incident and remanded to judicial custody.
