ITANAGAR, Sep 23: Arunachal Pradesh Energy Development Agency (APEDA) Chairman Wanglam Sawin has asked the APEDA’s officers to implement all the state and central government projects under the agency “as per norms and within the stipulated time period.”
Addressing a review meeting at Jall Vidyut Bhavan here on 21 September, Sawin said no compromise would be made on the quality of works, and that the implementation of the schemes should not be delayed by any division.
The chairman requested the APEDA director and other senior officers to properly guide their subordinates to ensure effective administration and implementation of schemes.
He also offered the mantra of “responsibility, accountability, transparency” to the officers “to avoid any litigation during their service tenure.”
APEDA Director Marki Loya highlighted the major ongoing centrally-sponsored schemes in the state, and stressed on timely completion of all pending projects.
The officers highlighted the problems being faced by them in implementing the schemes and projects on time.
