CHANGLANG, Sep 24: A district level training programme for block nodal officers and gram panchayat facilitators of Changlang district was conducted here on Monday under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner RK Sharma and DRDA PD Talo Jerang as district facilitator.
The BDOs of nine CD block along with more than a hundred participants from the panchayat department and others were imparted hands-on training for conducting baseline survey and a series of gram sabhas at the grassroots level for effective formulation of gram panchayat development plans.
Sharma advised the participants to conduct proper survey, and panchayat JE Kento Ete imparted practical training on usage of vital mobile applications such as Mission Antodaya, Gram Panchayat Development Plan and geo-tagging.
In Yingkiong, training was imparted to the gram panchayat level facilitators and the block level nodal officers by master trainer Anand Jopir.
ADC CR Khampa directed the block level nodal officers to impart similar training at their blocks to ensure the success of the GPDP programme. (DIPROs)
