ITANAGAR, Sep 25: Representatives of eight NGOs from across the country made PowerPoint presentations showcasing their strategies and innovative interventions, during an interactive meeting with officers of the education department here on Tuesday.
The programme was chaired
by Education Secretary Madhu Rani Teotia. The participating NGOs were Shri Aurobindo Society, Meghshala Trust, British Council, Pratham Books, Million Sparks, Lend-A-Hand India, UNISED, and Chrysalis.
The NGO representatives shared their experiences of working in different states of the country. The department’s officers also held discussions with the representatives on how to adopt these interventions to improve the standard of education in Arunachal.
MoUs will be signed with selected NGOs shortly, the department informed in a press statement.
Education Special Secretary Rahul Sigh, Secondary Education Joint Director Marken Khadu, SCERT JD Moto Nyori, and State Project Officer Tumngam Loyi Nyodu also attended the programme.
