BILAT, Sep 28: The 4th ‘Sarkar Aapke Dwar’ programme of the East Siang district administration was held here in Ruksin subdivision on Friday, and witnessed a huge turnout of people for availing the services of government departments and banking institutions.
DC Tamiyo Tatak after inaugurating the event urged the GBs and other stakeholders of the district to create awareness on the doorstep services, adding that the state and central governments are committed to deliver the benefits and services of schemes and programmes to the people.
Besides government departments, banking institutions like the Apex Bank, the AP Rural Bank, and the State Bank of India’s Pasighat branch extended their services with the objective of financial inclusion of the rural people.
In Siang district, the programme was held in Boleng, where DC Rajeev Takuk urged the people to avail the various services being offered by the departments.
Stalls were set up by over 15 departments for delivering services to the people.
The Chief Minister’s Arunachal Arogya Yojana for Siang district was launched at the event by the DC. Altogether 530 forms were issued.
Among others, Superintendent of Police Kushal Pal Singh and former minister Tahung Tatak attended the programme.
In Namsai district, more than 5000 people benefited from the ‘Sarkar Aapke Dwar’ programmes organized at Old Mohong, Manmow, and Emphum from 26-28 September.
All the government departments and bank branches in the district attended the programmes and provided services at the doorsteps of the people.
DC Tapasya Raghav along with Namsai ADC B Talukdar visited all the camps.
Namsai MLA Chau Zingnu Namchoom inaugurated the programmes at Old Mohong and Manmow, while Chowkham MLA Chow Tewa Mein unveiled the programme at Emphum.
In Papum Pare district, as many as 30 government departments provided their services during the ‘Sarkar Aapke Dwar’ programme held at Kakoi in Kimin subdivision on Friday.
The health department registered 123 OPD cases, the food & civil supplies department distributed free LPG connections to 30 new beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, and the education department distributed free uniforms, pamphlets, etc.
DC Dr Joram Beda and local administrative officers supervised the distribution of the services by the departments.
