AALO, Oct 1: Local NGO Mothers’ Vision has urged the West Siang administration and police as well as the civil society to work together to check the growing drug menace in the district.
During a public meeting organised by the NGO at Gumin Kiin here on 29 September, Mothers’ Vision chairperson Jumde Yomgam Gamlin sought the public’s opinion on several issues, saying their opinions may come in handy in checking the flow of drugs into the district.
Resource person Kennedy Bagra made a PowerPoint presentation on drug abuse, progression of addiction, its prevention, rehabilitation, etc.
