Sino-India border personnel meet

BUMLA, Oct 1: A border personnel meeting (BPM) was organised here in Tawang district on Monday by the Chinese Army, on the occasion of the Chinese National Day.
The Indian delegation was led by Brigadier Zubin Bhatnagar, commander of the Tawang brigade, and Senior Colonel Yao Shi Chen of the Tsona Dzong garrison represented the Chinese side.
The BPM was marked by unfurling of the national flags of India and China, followed by formal address by the delegation leaders.
The Chinese side presented a colourful cultural programme during the function. Both delegations interacted with each other in a congenial and cordial environment, and parted amid a feeling of friendship and commitment to enhance the cordial relations and maintain peace along the Line of Actual Control.
