RAGA, Oct 21: Raga Assembly Constituency MLA Tamar Murtem announced Rs 20 lakhs for the construction of the office of the All Kamle District Handicap Welfare Association.
He said this on Sunday while attending a programme organized by the association.
“This section of the society needs our special care and attention. We must all join hands in assisting them in joining the mainstream of life,” said Murtem while appealing to the gathering to do away with the disparities and treat everyone as equals.
Highlighting the government’s provisions for differently-abled people, he appealed to them to avail the facilities.
Among others, social workers, HoDs, and former PRI members also attended the programme. (DIPRO)
