ITANAGAR, Oct 24: The Arunachal Pradesh Information Commission (APIC) has imposed a fine of Rs 25,000 on Kurung Kumey Additonal Deputy Commissioner Jalash Pertin who was previous ADC of Sagalee cum PIO of APIC case no. 196/2018 for delay in furnishing information sought by appellant Techi Saya pertaining to untied fund for the year 2015-16.
The APIC has further said that in case the officer fails to comply with the order, the commission would invoke Section 20(2) of the RTI Act and recommend disciplinary action as per the provisions of the service rule.
