KAYING, Nov 21: Awareness regarding legal topics like Legal Services Act, AP victim Compensation Act, AFR 1945, MV Act, Juvenile Justice Board Act, POCSO Act and Child Rights was created amongst general public, PRI members, members of Women Society and students during a legal awareness programme conducted by the Upper Siang District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) at Community Hall here on Wednesday.
Resource persons; DLSA, Mary Kamsi, Advocates Tapang Tabing and Kabang Taron also interacted with the participants on the occasion.
Later, Govt. Higher Secondary School, Kaying’s principal also inaugurated a Legal Literacy Club under the aegis of DLSA, Upper Siang.
