ITANAGAR, Nov 22: Reacting to the recent news regarding a show cause notice having been served to Poma RWD Division Executive Engineer Techi Jobea by the Arunachal Pradesh Information Commission, the two appellants, Nabam Nyajung and Nabam Karu, in a release clarified that the situation arose “due to miscommunication.”
“On 24 October, we wrote to the state information commissioner, informing that we are fully satisfied by the documents provided by the EE. Even then, hearing was conducted on 26 October, when the commissioner was again informed that all documents sought by us have been provided. Therefore, we were shocked to see our names being dragged in this case to issue show cause notice to Executive Engineer Techi Jobea,” the appellants stated.
“We filed complaint against the executive engineer-cum-PIO, RWD Poma division, Yupia, for incomplete furnishing of documents in regards to floating of tender for the construction of a multipurpose hall in Sangdupota circle in Papum Pare district. However, on 22-10-2018, the complete documents were furnished for which we were seeking information,” the duo stated.
