Ex servicemen seek Rajya Sainik Board

ITANAGAR, Dec 1: The Ex-Servicemen Association of Arunachal Pradesh (ESMAAP) has urged the state government for immediate formation of the Directorate of Sainik Welfare and Rajya Sainik Board (RSB) without any further delay.
During a meeting in Naharlagun on 1 December of ex-servicemen, their widows and next of kin, the gathering lamented that the Government of Arunachal Pradesh has not formed a directorate of Sainik Welfare and RSB till date.
The association said that due to non-formation of these two institutions, various welfare schemes, both from the centre as well as the state-available for veterans, widows and next of kin-are not being implemented properly.
The meeting under the chairmanship of ESMAAP president, Wing Commander (Rtd) Gyati Kago decided that the two-point resolution will be submitted to the state government soon.
