NEW DELHI, Dec 19: Tage Rita of Lambu Subu Food & Beverages is one of the recipients of ‘Women Transforming India Awards 2018’.
The NITI Aayog organised the third edition of the ‘Women Transforming India Awards 2018’ in collaboration with the United Nations, and launched the upgraded portal of the Women Entrepreneurship Platform (WEP) on 16 December.
Rita is a kiwi wine brewer from Ziro.
Some of the awardees in the third edition of the event include Kshetrimayum Indira Devi of Chanu Creations, Ajaita Shah of Frontier Markets Consulting Pvt Ltd, Pranshu Patni of Hello English, Namita Banka of Banka Bioloo Ltd, and Ezhil Subbian of String Bio Pvt Ltd.
The Women Transforming India Awards were instituted in collaboration with United Nations to recognize and celebrate stories of exemplary women from across India.
This year’s theme is ‘Women and Entrepreneurship’, and 15 winners have been chosen through an extensive six-month long process to identify fascinating and inspiring stories of women entrepreneurs.
