Ering seeks KV in Ruksin

NEW DELHI, Jan 8: Member of Parliament Ninong Ering has urged Union HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar to establish a Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) in Ruksin in East Siang district as one of the seven such schools the minister has assured to open in Arunachal Pradesh.
The parliamentarian from Arunachal on Monday wrote to the HRD minister that the proposed KVs should be evenly distributed in the state to tackle the dropout rate and further improve primary education.
“This will not only ensure balanced regional development but also realize the accessibility and availability aspects of quality education in our state,” Ering said.
In another letter – this one to Northeast Frontier Railway General Manager Sanjive Roy – Ering urged him to prioritize the construction of the Murkong Selek-Pasighat line upto Ngorlung and accelerate the railway line construction process.
Ering said Union Railways Minister Piyush Goyal had on 2 January communicated to him regarding the construction of the railway line upto Ngorlung.
He said the railway line has been a long-pending demand of the people of his constituency.
